Types of Information Collected
Daysupz collects the following types of information from users:

User Account Information
- Identifiers: Unique user identifier (UUID), Firebase authentication UUID.
- Authentication Data: Data such as first and last name (always provided with Google Sign-In but not always with Apple Sign-In) and email address (which can be masked when using Apple Sign-In).
- Profile Information: User profile details, such as profile photo (initially provided by Google when signing in via Google Sign-In) and username (initially generated from the email address but changeable by the user).
- Localization Data: Data such as time zone offset and language code.
- Notification Tokens: Device tokens used for notifications through Firebase.

Friendship Data
- Friendships: Data related to social connections, such as friend relationships, user UUIDs of connected friends, and friendship status (accepted, pending, sent).
- Blocked Users: Information about user-managed restrictions, such as a list of blocked users and those who have blocked the user.
- Friend Suggestions: Data such as the UUIDs of suggested friends, mutual friends with those suggestions, and the status of the suggestion (e.g., whether the user dismissed it).

- Surprise Content: Data related to surprises, such as surprise UUID (a unique identifier for each surprise), sender and receiver UUIDs, scheduled reveal date, media content (such as photos, videos, collages, audio, text, PDFs), and surprise options (e.g., name visibility and download permissions).
- Surprise Interactions: Engagement details, such as comments (including sender UUID, content type, replied comment UUID, and reactions) and read status of comments.
- Shared Media: Records of surprises that share the same media content, such as the list of surprise UUIDs sharing the media and the most future reveal date.

- Notification Events: Records of notifications sent for events such as friend requests, accepted friend requests, surprise openings, and reminders for unopened surprises.
- Notification Settings: User preferences for enabling or disabling notifications for events such as friend requests, surprise openings, comments, and reminders for unopened surprises.
- Surprise Availability Tracking: Data such as the number of unopened surprises on a specific date and whether reminder notifications were sent.

Analytics and App Performance
Daysupz utilizes Google Analytics for Firebase to gather aggregated data, including:
- User Engagement: Various aspects of user engagement such as session duration, engagement time, number of sessions and screen views.
- Device Information: Data about the device used to access the app, such as the device model, operating system version, and screen resolution.
- App Information: Data about the app itself, such as App version, App package name, App instance ID, App platform (iOS/Android).
- Anonymized IP Address: Google Analytics for Firebase anonymizes IP addresses by obscuring the last octet of the IP address to protect user privacy.
- Events within the App: User interactions such as button clicks, screen views, and other actions users perform while using the app.
Some of this data may be collected with your consent, which may be requested when you use specific features of the app. For example, we may ask for permission to access your device’s camera, photo gallery or microphone to update your profile photo, send surprises or save them in your phone.
